TIS THE SEASON

North of Los Angeles before you get to

Santa Barbara there is the charming

town of Carpinteria.  I stopped in to see
my friend Susan of SUSAN WILLIS LTD.
and share her store.



There is a wide array of gift items for

everyone on your list.

and offers interior design services.



 

 

A few miles north is the tiny seaside town

of Summerland. Their small main street

is dotted with many antique stores but

my very favorite is RUE DE LILLIE. 

 Housed in a bungalow over looking the

Pacific Ocean is a treasure trove of

antiques that Fran has acquired

on her numerous European buying

trips.  There is a nice mix of new as well.



 

Also in Carpinteria is PORCH, where

shelter and nature converge.
