AFTER HOURS EVENT

Vern and Jan of MATTHEW TAYLORS

had a store in Tustin, California for 20 years before

relocating to Central California in San Luis Obispo.

They developed a strong following in Tustin

and are forever hearing how they are missed.

Recently the Assistance League of

Santa Ana contacted them to see if they

could work on a special event on the

ladies yearly trip up the coast of California.

An after hours wine and shopping event

was decided upon and the date was set.

Not wanting to miss out on something

different and fun I went up to see if 

I could be of help.

Jan, who is responsible for all of the

great displays did her magic.

  Vern made sure the garden was blooming

The table looked great where the wine

and goodies were waiting to be tried.

These cones filled with nuts looked and tasted great.

Mixed nuts combined with butter, cajon pepper,

rosemary, paprika and brown sugar, heated

and mixed together.  They were worth the effort.

The beautiful crystal bowl had lentils 

on the bottom to hold up the cones.

Another easy and crowd pleasing appetizer.

Brie covered with a layer of Jalapeno Jelly

topped with crushed pistachios.  

Nothing left to do but wait for the guests

and Maddy was our look out.

We were so impressed when the touring bus 

arrived, it just fit in the parking lot .

 The ladies enjoyed the store

 and Jan enjoyed entertaining her

old customers in her new location.

 These after hour events are a nice way

to enhance the business of the store, and

now that the WEB SITE

is done all these ladies can

visit the store whenever they want.

For me it was a great chance to spend 

time with my friends.
