GARDEN OF DELITE

ROGER'S GARDENS has been the nursery

of choice in Orange County, Ca. as

long as I can remember.

It is a seven acre dream and a

 gardeners disneyland. 

Over the years it has become more than a

a place to buy amazing plants.  They have

a beautiful gallery of home accessories,

The creative director ERIC CORTINA

who puts all of this together is also

a designer and manuafacturer of his

own line of Christmas ornaments.

He broadened his collection with this addition

of metal designs which can decorate the home

year round.  His ex voto hearts, which were

 historically used in Europe as offerings of

gratitude or devotion in churches.

These make a nice gift to commemorate an

event or wedding.

Holiday decor for almost every occassion

is a big attraction in the gallery.  Easter

is now on display.

Besides plants they do a wide ranch of

silk and fresh arrangements

They have created a beautiful "life style"

which is exactly what they have called

their new facebook page.

NICE WAY WITH WORDS

Throughout my selling days I have found

that anything with quotations or words sell.

Inspirational, funny or cleaver, either

on pictures, pillows, jewelry, decorative

or functinal.  It doesn't seem to matter.

SUGARBOO DESIGNS has captured

this beautifully.  The You are My Sunshine

verse is a favorite, either as a piece for the wall

or on a pillow, shown beautifully here by

AIDAN GRAY AND ROMANTIC HOME

AIDAN GRAY HOME is now doing a

monthly ad in ROMANTIC HOME magazine.

I thought this would be something I should be sharing.

The April issue

I don't have the exact ad but I do have the style

shots from the ad.

The Lisbon chair is shown in the light linen

stripe fabric. 

The traditional wing back chair is updated

with a slightly exaggerated silhouette.

Tapered legs add to the sophistication of

this chair.

It is also available in a grey stripe fabric.

Sitting next to the chair in the first picture

are these fun metal barrels. The

surface has an aged look to them.

These come in a set of three and would be

great for planting or could be used for

storage. 

In this same ad is the Tilet Finial.

As though plucked from ancient

architecture the finial features unique

carvings and a weathered zinc finish.

Going through my other magazines this

month I found this other AIDAN GRAY

piece in  COUNTRY LIVING

The 15 drawer Wien side board

made from reclaimed wood.

It is nice to see the products I sell get

national recognition.
