GREAT PRESS

It is a nice thing when we get some recognition
from the press and two of my lines had some
nice exposure in two respected magazines.

in the April issue of ROMANTIC HOMES

The cushion is from their extensive linen and
burlap pillow collection that was introduced in
January.

Here are some of the other pillows in that collection.

The artichoke finial is from the select collection.
These are very special limited items that
are made to look as close to antique as possible.

Since they were given such great coverage
they placed a nice ad.
They selected some of the best sellers

The Parisian Candlestick

The Londra Lamp

The Genie Urn Chandelier

The set of table finials

and a new lamp introduction

The Geneve Lamp in Burlap

had a very nice feature in

COUNTRY LIVING

I love this picture, they did such a great job of
making this table cloth so appealing.
This Audrey is 72 x 72 cotton and looks just as
good on a round table.

This is such a fun look, a little romantic,
a little feminine, would be fabulous for a
bridal shower.
This collection has some other fun items

bolster pillow

small tote

Large tote, these are just so cute
would make a fun bag for a new Mom, or a week-end
bag for the beach.

and a bedskirt with layers of ruffles.

WHAT I LOVE DOING

Now that the trade shows are over I am back doing
the job I love, calling on my customers and
finding new ones.  I have added a list on the bottom left side of my blog called  Special web sites, blogs and stores, which I will add to with permission. I have had positive reaction when I have asked if I can take photos of customers store and share on my blog.  I am looking forward to
this added aspic to my job.

I went to visit
my first FERMOB USA customer last week,
 Chicweed in Solana Beach, Ca.

The is actually a large fenced in garden area
with very little in door space.  Being in the
San Diego area bad weather is not a problem.
FERMOB really shows up well in this setting.

They coordinate the fabulous colors of this line
with pillows and outdoor rugs.

Large pots, plants and trees help
fill in the area and gives you the feeling you are
in the patio area of someones house.

CHARTRUESE in Los Alamitos, Ca.
is a furniture store with a large appreciation for accessories.
My kind of store!

This is a pendant light from GALLERY DESIGNS LIGHTING.   I love pendant lighting, they are hard
to display so stores tend to shy away from them, but not
CHARTRUESE, they are up for the challenge.

Life is Beauty Full, is from SUGARBOO DESIGNS.
I call this line "rustic sophisticated",  but it fits
into lots of different design styles.

It is nice to see they took the extra step to put
something in the wire urn on pedestal from

Another example of GALLERY DESIGNS LIGHTING

There are so many ways to use a clouch,
here they have combined it with a pretty artifical
orchid plant.

With all the driving I do you never know what
your going to see at a red light.

One of the more positive things that happened at the

LAS VEGAS-2

My favorite thing about coming to the Las Vegas show
is to see the progression of this great creation
from FRANK GEHRY

The Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health,
Dedicated to the conquest of Alzheimer, Huntington, Parkinson,
ALS and all forms of memory disorders.
Las Vegas businessman and philanthropist Larry Ruvo planned the center after his father Lou Ruvo fought Alzheimer’s disease and then passed away in 1994. Larry Ruvo sought to create a center for compassionate care, cutting-edge treatments and high-level research into cognitive diseases.
The architecture certainly sets it apart.

My husband John is a rep and his lines are very different than mine.  Where
my lines are very French and a little vintage his are very
contemporary .  NEUVO is a line from Canada that I
thought went well with this Frank Gehry building.

A very broad assortment of furniture and accessories,
some items, like this chandelier
have a transitional look to it, and I love mixing styles.

The shade has a lot of great detail.

And here is something fun.

I couldn't resist these sheep from PHILLIPS COLLECTION

Well this is LAS VEGAS!

LAS VEGAS SHOW

The World Market Center in Las Vegas.  The once hopeful
west coast High Point Furniture show.  I say once hopeful
because it really didn't pan out the way people had thought it
might.  The big name vendors that it wanted to attract just
didn't happen, do to the fact the venue opened around
the same time the economy started to have a down turn.
BARREVELD/DK LIVING
have a beautiful showroom here so I had the
chance to take a few more pictures of things I missed
in Atlanta.

I love this piece but it didn't show up well in the Atlanta
showroom, so I was pleased it got the space it needed here.
What a great piece for store display, would make a great
intrance.  If you have the luxury of having an outdoor area
what a statement if would make.  The price is far less than
I thought it would be.

Another piece that would be good for in side the store
if you want to do garden but don't have space outside.
This greenhouse comes without glass and is shipped
in pieces and is very easy to put together.

Here we have a larger version.

Their garden collections are very strong this season.

These finials have been very popular, great on a bookshelf.
They have a nice eclectic style.

One of my favorite items is this tufted linen headboard.
Here it is shown in a twin size but it also comes in queen.
It goes very nicely with both the AIDAN GRAY line
and POM POM AT HOME bedding.

If you want prices or more information on any of these
items send me an email
