I met Brooke Giannetti when she first opened her
store GIANNETTI HOME and she has proved to be
an inspiration to me and many others ever since.
When you walk into the showroom it is easy to see
her love of antiques, beautiful fabrics and classic design.
infused with a bit of whimsy
shows very well in her showroom
either a large chandelier
or this sweet four light chandelier
perfectly placed lamp
Brooke has a attention to detail and sense of style
that is evident every where you look
You can also find fun accessory pieces for yourself
or to give as gifts.
I could spend hours looking through her collection
of design books
birdcages are a welcome accessory with or without the bird
I am very partial to this light ficture from
and works so well in this space
I started this blog by saying that Brooke has inspired
me and part of that inspiration has lead to my starting
this blog. She introduced me to blogging by showing
me VELVET AND LINEN
The most beautiful thing in the world is, precisely,
theconjuntion of learning and inspiration.
Oh,the passion for research and the
joy of disovery.

I enjoyed this post. I love Velvet and Linen -
ReplyDeleteShe may just be my favorite designer. If I could wiggle my nose and magically make my house over in her style, you bet my face would be twitching like crazy!!!
I love your blog!

It's always so much fun when you come to visit the store, Sally!
ReplyDeleteThank you for introducing Giannetti Home to your readers.
I thanked you on Velvet and Linen too!
