PINK 365 DAYS A YEAR

About a year ago Randal Weeks of
introduced the pink collection of lamps
and chandeliers.  This collection is in
honor of his Mother who past away
from Breast Cancer.  Breast cancer
affects a woman's life 365 days a year.
Randal is committed to raising funds
for breast cancer research because
the fight for a cure is personal to all of us.

This season Aidan Gray has added to the
pink collection with a wonderful
group of pendants and chandeliers
using Mother of Pearl as the focus.

Half of the profits from the sales of
these items goes to breast cancer
research.

I am very proud to be a part of the
Pink Campaign.  This is a personal
fight for all of us.

AMERICA RETOLD

I am very happy to announce that I will
be representing AMERICA RETOLD
The line has been asleep for a while
and is now offering an expanded collection
of "Messages from AR".
These signs are inspired by the historic
enamel signs of Paris and Amsterdam,
old European labels and cartouches.

These authentic signs feature memorable
messages using hand-scripted
calligraphy and carefully selected
type fonts and are appropriate for
a wide variety of situations and occasions.

Whether displayed in the home, office,
store, restaurant or B & B they
will add a charming note to any space.

GETTY VILLA, MALIBU

We are so fortunate to have some fabulous
museums in Southern California.  One of
my favorites is the GETTY VILLA.

The gardens are so beautiful and
well taken care of.  As soon as you
get out of the parking garage there
are treats to behold.

The Villa is modeled after the Villa dei Papiri,
a Roman country house in Herculaneum buried
by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in A.D.79.

This is Hermes, the God of Travel.
Notice the wings on his feel.

After a couple of hours in the gardens
we went inside to explore the ancient
culture of The Greeks, The Etruscans
and The Romans.

I got a little sidetracked with the
beautiful ceilings,

and marble floors.

This is called the Family Forum where
ancient art comes alive in this hands-on
discovery space families, that
encourage shared learning and play.

the pitifully few real and lasting products
of human endeavor."
